I am sorry to report that the Cougars have folded for the 2008 season. Unfortunantly this does leave a hole in everybodies shedule but, fortunantly, it leaves exactly the same hole in everybodies schedule so no advantage is gained or lost due to the loss of the Cougars. Now that we are here let's have a great 2008 season, because it looks like the MDFL competition this year is as good as it has been in a while, with several very good teams in both conferences!

The new President of the MDFL is Marvin March formerly a coach for the Arbutus Big Red. He has had several decades of experience in semi-pro football and has been with the MDFL since the beginning. Nothing else to report at this time.
