Dis early seazon matchup will go a long way to determining da lead-dawg in da South. Big hits - Big plays - Big trash talk - but I gotta go wit da boys from Burlington on dis one. I think dey are one of da most balanced/complete teams in da league - and dey always get off to a great start. Honest - if I was bettin' - I'd stay away from dis game - it's a push. I give a edge to da Heat on da road in a squeeka. Dis will be a battle to da wiya.

Storm @ Warriors -

I think dat there's big thangs brewin down in Gretna. Word is dat dey got a nice tandem of QBs who are akkerit and smart. Dey spread da ball a la Tom Brady and are fast on D. Maybe - just maybe it wasn't a fluke last yeah. Da warriors are scrappy but dey havn' t put in da Preseason work like da Storm and it will hurt dem on openin day. The Storm might be da silent assassin dis yeah - da big suprise kid. Cheek expects dem ta make some noise yo - and a lot of it. warriors ain't bad - but dey ain't ready fo prime time yet.

Well Well Well - - New name - new scheme - new colors - - same heart! Carolina Crush bringin da new hotness to da south with dat same old south clik swagga. I always liked da Raidaz - I think I like da Crush even mo. I got a cuz down at Lejune dat is blowin 'nem up! Da Tigers ain't no slouch tho. Dey brought in a few new heavy hittas. I heard dat they got some real headhunters on D and are lookin to prove a point. Did might wind up being da game of da week in da South. But I gotta go wit da Crush at home.

Big Red @ Ravens -

Classis battle for a classis season. No two teams beat it up like da Big Red and da Ravens. I keep hearin all dis stuff about da Ravens bein dis and da Ravens bein dat. It don't matter when deez two teams hit it off. Da Big red been straight puttin da stamp on kids in da preseason - I heard da world famous Pirahna backed oout on nem last minute. Dey been killin people in da preseason and dat is totally bass ackwards as to how dey ususally operate. dis game is always a slobba knocka and always comes down ta one play - HOLLA. Da game is in Richmond so da Ravens get a bump for hostin' - but my Cheeky guts says Big Red gets it done...

Welcome to da League Dragons...tuff matchup fo you da first week. I see da Crusadaz jock ridaz is out in force already and rightfully so - dey are da champs. Somethin tells me dey are a little too cocky fo dey own good - but a little swag neva hurt nobody. I think dey inherited a noobie squad on openin day. Da only good news is dat the Sadaz don't always travel well and if da Dragons got any athletes - and DC is loaded - dey might be a spoila - but I doubt it. Crusadaz big - but not too big. Too much offense - too much fiya powa - too much click and too much clack.

Falcons @ Broncos -

What does this matchup tell you? It has two big story lines 1) Are the Falcs for reals and 2) is da Broncos legacy on the way back? Coach Landi neva takes long ta put a contenda on da field and i'm bettin' he is well on da way back to gettin it done. Da Broncos was undermanned in 09 - not dis yeaah. I got a boy of mine dat play for Willinboro and he told be dat da Broncos are big and a hella lot faster now dat da arena team folded up. Da falcs got a lot of bodies and a lot of speed but dey struggled to beat a Chiefs team last week and just looked flat. If dey go to Jersey flat - dey will stay dat way cuz da Broncs will give dem da bizness from what my boy is tellin me. Da Falcs lost in da Conf Chip last yeah and u would thank dey are betta. Only time will telll - I know I saw em in DC last week and dey looked real fast...D had a TD called back. Can dey stop da Bronco runnin game and limit da big play and can da Broncos limit turnovers? We'll see...Falcs on da road get my vote.
