I wonder if viper #33 is gonna get the same treatment that we(Crusaders) are getting!!! His comment sounded a lil cocky or was it just confident.... I want to hear your opinion Jayroc!!! Does he get a pass cause he's your teammate? How many years have the Vipers been in their league? Matter of fact I'd like to hear opinions from all messageboard participants on this. I just wanna know!

This how it will unfold! Round one of playoffs Heat lose to Fayetteville! Storm lose to Wilmington! Conference Championship! Wilmington wins in overtime over Fayetteville!Ravens over Crusaders in Nothern Conference title! Wilmington over Ravens in the title game! Ravens are better than you think and so is Wilmington!

Well it always nice to know who you talking to and yes you are a baller 52 but everybody knows in this league everbody will eventually become has beens including yourself, but you also know that this "has been" is still taking care of buisness as I "has been" doing for years lol. As far as the win something comment, you must mean championships....oops I mean a championship with my new team Vipers! Vipers! Vipers! cause games have been adding up on the W side since our first game. So if you referring to championships...dang forgive me A Campionship, you and yours need to catch up and get on our level (monarchs/ravens) with rings and playing outside of the mdfl as a champ. Maybe if you win this year you will do that or just be happy with just that...the mdfl championship.

Anyway 17, yeaaah he was a lil cocky on that one but I "has been" always in his corner and until we win at least 1 Championship I can't tell him to humble his self, maybe unlike with the Ravens and I told you about your team in the way y'all started maybe now he wants to change it up like y'all and talk until somebody humbles him . But since wilmington has made a statement and they are known to upset teams you might want to watch out cause the last team that got slept on from the south in a championship (Ravens) lol came up out that thang but that "has been" some years ago lol. Y'all will see us if you want challenger or champ of league or division it don't matter I still predict a win against y'all as you all expect the same. Difference is you have to believe it and I know we have more who believe it on the field lol. Holla at ya Hero! Later my dudes.

The Metro Bowl is not that far away... Let's put all this talkin to the test... RAFL South/MDFL should all commit this year... put the marbles on the table when everybody is up to full speed, preseason is preseason ya know...

WHATS UP JAYROC? Heard ya'll doin ya'll thang down there... Hopefully we can compete this year... As you know, National "Beat The Narchs" month was last month... we was givin out W's like it was the thing to do, lol... We tryin to put some things together so we don't end up as "has beens" as well...

My opinion, Crusaders gonna win it all this year again (won't be EASY tho)... I'm about 75/25 with that prediction...But I do have a feeling they wont go undefeated... SOMEbody is gonna slip one or two by em... but I still have em making it to the Chip... Watch out for the Storm, they are the real deal this year. My sleeper teams this year are the Big Red and Wilmington...

That's all I was saying to u jayroc! How come when a couple players(or sometimes a fan) talk strongly about their team, the whole team is cocky? How many times have u seen Ike come on here blasting teams? He's our overall captain & spokesman of the team & he is always humble... Every team has some arrigant players & ours happen to like talking on the messageboard. They love ruffling a lil feathers out here & seem to alwys succeed. Tell the truth... U got hostility cause u wanna take down the champs, huh? Everybody talks about playn more after the season but never factor in families... We wanted to play but Sh*t happens! Maybe this year we will just to quiet down the rumblings.... Crusader17, a member of the most hated team in the MDFL, is out!!!!!

I feel you 17, but as with us if the voices that run the team are never heard then that's what is going to represent your team even if it is different on the inside. But forreal I do want to see y'all against a wider variety of competition so others including me if you want to say can't say y'all are not desearving cause I know how it is to be in y'all shoes. Secondly I know for us Vipers, the monarchs, and when with the Ravens always wanted to play the best and when you can't then why play after a while it gets boring beating the same people, and if you not tired you will get there one day trust lol. Oh and it is good to see your coach as well as my own establishing teams of our status (even though we don't have a ring) that is willing to let the players have a say so in what goes on and work hard for the success. Keep ballin and tell the boys what up!

What up Syc! You know deep down inside I was saying monarchs lost with a grin, but not for one minute do I expect it to be easy. I think we should make sure all Va squads who call there self the best get into the metro bowl. I am trying to go out with a bang, and enjoy every moment to the fullest. I hope they set it up though cause it could be a classic. What time the game sat?

Naw, the first year made the playoffs....second year lose in conference champion to eventual mdfl champion.....the thrid year we won the whole thing.....looks like steady improvement and if you call that average at best ill take it....I know its hard for to stomach it but VA has always been better at football than carolina...Them Storm boys are proving that....VA stand up

Well, it is true that VA teams are all over the MDFL champs list...

But, mark my words, 2009 will be a good an opportunity for the North Carolina teams. There have been good NC teams lately, but only one or two a year. I can see three NC teams (Riders, Heat, Wilmington...YES, Wilmington) really, TRULY competing for the MDFL title this year. (...and, honestly, if the Crush or Warriors get it together and get some things to break their way, EITHER team could shatter some hearts and get involved too!)

Of course, the Storm and the North will have a say in it BUT... for the first time in about 15 years... don't be surprised if a NC squad proves out the motto "Esse Quam Videri"*** with regards to that MDFL title. Since the Blast last won the ttle in 1994, many NC teams have seemed to be championship calibre but none has quite managed to seal the the deal.

The times they are a changing boys. Let me tell you right now, don't be shocked if the 2009 MDFL Champ gets forged in the crucible of white hot Southern Conference competition. In my opinion, the last time we had a crop of North Carolina teams this promising, the Wolverines still dominated the Triangle area and Coach Hobbs was still coaching in NC.

I was very proud to be on that 1994 Blast squad. I see even more talent on the 2009 edition of the Heat than our 94' squad and I see more comp in the South so anything can happen. It is what it is. VA has been dominant as far as 'chips. All we have control over is our next practice. Let's get it!!!!!!

I could not agree more about your 'more comp' statement. This season, the South is really looking like a MINEFIELD. One or two mis-steps against the wrong team and *BOOM* your season may be done.
I won't guarantee a South victory or anything because the North may have some surprises in store too. But I can absolutely predict that the South team making it through to the title game is going to be well tested and prepared to take that title.
