Mason Dixon Football League

Well right now the league office is holding back on the teams! Right now people want to know who is replacing lost teams from the South! You have what 2 or 3 teams left down here! Someone needs to inform us all about what's going on before more teams and players move on too other leagues or teams! This is begining to look a little fishy to me and others! What kind of competition the TIGERS gonna have down here comissioner please open your mouth and say something! I'm not being rude or nasty but some wanna know something!

I'm so sick of this crap! First and formost - IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THE LEAGUE GO ASK YOUR OWNER!!!!!!!!!!!! This board is not an Official Forum for MDFL leadership. So don't come on here and throw mud - not cool at all. The meeting was postponed last week due to weather and if you look at the news you would know that there's no meeting happeing this weekend either.

Your owner or head coach knows EXACTLY what is happening as far as the South and the League. Go ask them.

Well usally someone knows but seems no one does so til i hear something i'm gonna keep asking! If anyone knows anything about who is in or who is out of the south let me know! I'm no throwing mud just asking a simple question and all i wanted was a simple answer!!!!

Rod, board or not, I think the man had a valid question... Its not the players' faults that THEIR league defers everything to the owners...

This is the MDFL Messageboard, the MOST recognized thing ABOUT the MDFL on the net. The messageboard is more known that the league's own website...

I think its a bad idea to chastise players and those interested, just because they ask questions on the board... it shows how much TRUST that these people have in their league management and in some cases even their own team management... Like I said before, at LEAST the league could show SOME kind of CONCERN for their players by letting people know some things... This closed door business is what killed this league and will continue to kill it in the future... I'm surprised no one can see the signs...

If the league feels that they should NOT be accountable for the questions posed on this board, then the league should REMOVE their name from the messageboard itself...

Why are you always the conspiracy theorist Syc? Really. There are no signs to see. The reason that information about the teams isn't put out there yet is because the additions aren't finalized. The MDFL has SEVERAL TEAMS in the South AND NORTH coming on-board, or at least attending the meeting to submit for entry. Sorry about jumping on you persay big 74 - I wasn't attacking you exactly just the kind of nonsense that my boy 7 is always spitting. People that know me know that I'm not the official flag bearer for the MDFL, but I assure you that the demise of this league is a log way off. There will always be teams that come and go and people who think their league is the best. I saw the Narchs play - I saw how their season ended up - I don't think anyone from that team has room to throw any stones about any league based on what's happening in the RAFL - not to mention - I saw enough games to know that any one of the top 5 teams in the MDFL would have worked that league.

So 74 - I do apologize for coming off like I jumped at you - I did and it wasn't warranted. You're always upfront on point on the board. Just stay patient - I promise you once this crazy weather passes by (calling for 8 more inches starting tomorrow)...you'll get the information you're looking for.

And just as you have your opinion on who can "work" our league, I feel as if we (Monarchs) could have "worked" the MDFL, even in our "down" state this season...

I know the RAFL, cares more about its PLAYERS than the MDFL, I know that... they care enough to keep us informed before, during and after the season... Its ashamed that someone who is "no flag bearer to the MDFL" is the one who chooses to inform the people who actually pay attention to the league... No one is asking to see the books, or know every in and out of the league. i just think people want their league to have the BALLS enough to stand up for itself and let its MEMBERS (messageboard and abroad) know that the MDFL has some sort of self-respect. OK, so you have teams applying, thats good... at least those who DIDN'T know, now they DO know, so this little conversation DID serve some purpose...

Transparency buddy, that's all that I believe people (myself, included) are looking to see. I think they want to see someone or something take CHARGE and let them know this league isn't going under. Just because the league is stubborn enough to run with TWO teams, doesn't mean you guys should paint a false picture that we're going strong... You know yourself the turmoil the league went thru last year and the hardship that it now faces... don't downplay it as if it isn't there.

I haven't even come on here playing the our league is better card, because there is clearly no need to... the proof is in the pudding my friend... We had our ups and downs over the years, but certainly more ups than downs... and to be COMPLETELY honest, the RAFL fixes and addresses its problems EVERY single year and the league gets better for it... Check out the site, ( http://www.rafl.net )they've already made moves this offseason and have a meeting next weekend (weather permitting) to finalize everything for the upcoming season... One monkey doesn't stop the show, teams leave and teams come, its the nature of the beast, its the league that knows how to HANDLE it and PUSH FORWARD that sets itself apart from the others...

And I'll shoo away your shot at the Narchs, and the RAFL... and who can "work" who... I feel the exact opposite, because I don't know a single team in this league that could have "worked' the RAFL, we're more than just a 8 team league full of teams that KNOW each other... when you come here expect the unexpected is all i can say... The MDFL teams (Falcons, Storm) BARELY beat us (PWM) in preseason and we were subpar at best this year... I think we lost in overtime (*) and by a TD... so don't count your chickens based off what you saw US do... There's a NEW bully on the block if you hadn't heard... Better get in line....

Likewise my man, regardless of what I say or how I say it sometimes, I think you are the best thing going in this league... To see you still fight for it, even after the BULLSH*T they did to you, just shows your true character, they should be honored to have you involved... Good Luck man...

'Preciate that bruh. Just goes to show that just because you do a bad thing it doesn't have to define you. I HAVE A LOT OF LOVE FOR THIS LEAGUE and I will be here until the day comes when I'm not. Shoot - we got a lot of history. I'm sure we will spar again - respectfully of course and I will support my fam every chance I get - Monarch, King, Tiger, Spartan, Warrior, Raven....that's what I do.
